近日，龙泉寺举办首次英文精进共修法会，僧团英文班法师、80多位学员及义工参加。通过英文早课、拜英文三十五佛忏、坐禅、受八关斋戒、法师开示和英文演讲比赛等丰富多彩的活动，学员们对佛法的体悟和佛教英语的掌握皆有所提升。经过选拔，10位学员参加了以“如说而行 如行而说”为主题的英文演讲比赛。
The first English Language Intensive Practice Dharma Assembly was recently organized by Longquan Monastery. Masters from the Sangha’s English Class, and over eighty students and volunteers joined the session with various activities arranged to enhance the student’s understanding of the Dharma and Buddhist English studies. The participants took part in English morning classes, Thirty-Five Buddhas Repentance Ritual in English, meditation, transmission of Eight Precepts, study of Dharma Talks from masters and an English speech contest, which was titled "Act in accordance with one’s words; Speak in accordance with one’s actions" among ten student contestants after a selection round.
