You need a translation of a document into a different language, and you have a friend who speaks that language.

Hi Jake,
Hope all is well with you. I tried calling you recently, but it immediately went to voice mail, so I’d thought I’d send you an email.
The reason I wanted to get a hold of you is because I need to send a potential client a letter in his own language, and wouldn’t you know it that would be Persian, in the hope that he can clearly understand the issue, one that revolves around the processing of payment. You’re the only person I know who can read and write Persian, so, I know it’s a lot to ask, but I’m wondering if you may be able to set some time aside to help with the translation. I understand it’s a lot to ask, but it would really mean a lot to me if you’d be able to translate the letter I’ve written. If this client becomes long-term, then I’ll be sure to locate someone local who can assist in doing such translations in the future.
I really hope this doesn’t put a damper on your weekend, but I’d be really appreciative if you’d be able to do this. Next time you’re in town, everything’s on me, and of course, we’ll have a full-on BBQ party. I’ve attached the letter.
