不复习吧,写作分数就很有可能成为自己申请的绊脚石;

The following appeared in a memo to the board of the Grandview Symphony.
"The city of Grandview has provided annual funding for the Grandview Symphony since the symphony's inception ten years ago. Last year the symphony hired an internationally known conductor, who has been able to attract high-profile guest musicians to perform with the symphony. Since then, private contributions to the symphony have doubled and attendance at the symphony's concerts-in-the-park series has reached new highs. Now that the Grandview Symphony is an established success, it can raise ticket prices. Increased revenue from larger audiences and higher ticket prices will enable the symphony to succeed without funding from the city government."
Write a response in which you discuss what specific evidence is needed to evaluate the argument and explain how the evidence would weaken or strengthen the argument.
要求:
1)完整写首段+主体段每段首句;
2)首段需要和主体段每段首句内容对应(尽量即可);

Evidence

According to the memo to the board of the Grandview Symphony, the symphony can succeed without governmental funding, as private contributions have doubled and attendance at a certain series has reached new highs. We need to closely examine evidence regarding the private contributions, attendance situations of different events, and the potential influence brought by the price raise.
To begin with, we need more information concerning the private contributions. We need to know about the relative importance of the private contributions to the overall financial support. If the private contributions are way less than the public support, its increase does not necessarily make government support replaceable. Additionally,we need to learn about whether the private contribution increase, decrease, or remain the same next year. If the private contributions decrease next year, the symphony will not be capable of self-supporting. A final piece of evidence that we need is whether the elimination of government funding will discourage private contributions. It is likely that private institutions would withdraw their money when they knowthat the government attach little importance to the symphony financially. In brief, we can only evaluate the soundness of the argument after we investigate these issues.
Moreover, we need more evidence about the attendance situations of different events. The argument provides information about the attendance of the concerts-in-the-park series, but we are unaware of the attendance of all the other events of the symphony this year. If it was to find that only the series mentioned in the argument receive substantial attention, it is unlikely that the symphony is making a lot of profits. Equally important is the influence of the government funding. If the government funding is used previously to promote the quality of the event, the event may not be as good as before when the funding gets cancelled. Rather, the cancellation might cause a sharp decline in attendance, making the symphony unable to support itself. Therefore, it is very important that we evaluate the aforementioned information before deciding whether the symphony can self-support. Last but not least, it is very important to know about how sensitive the clients are to the price change and whether the change would affect private contributions. The argument does not provide information about the influence exerted by the price change, making it almost impossible to determine if the symphony would gain enough profits after such change. To resolve this issue, we should first inquire information about the price sensitivity of the clients. If the present price is already at the margin of what the audience could afford, it is unlikely that they would still buy tickets when the price gets raised next year. Under such circumstance, the profits would be influenced negatively. Likewise, whether the change would affect private contributions is something that should be under investigation. It is likely that the private institutions only raise funding for symphony when it offered a low price for audiences. If this is the case, the symphony would lose their support when raising the price. We need to know, therefore, as regards to the influence of price change, so as to decide whether or not the symphony can survive after withdrawing governmental funding.
In conclusion, although the argument appears to be plausible, we need more evidence as aforementioned to evaluate its soundness.
