7. WHERE THERE IS A WILL, THERE IS A WAY 有志者事竟成
The secret of success (The key to success) is not so much money as a strong will. A great man is one who has a strong will and an indomitable（不屈不挠的;不服输的;不气馁的）spirit. In other words, if a man does not have a strong will to win (get) the final victory, he will never succeed in his life. As a consequence, he is no more than a failure.
It is quite obvious that there is no difficult thing (nothing difficult) in the world. If you make up your mind to do it, you will certainly accomplish your end.
成功的要诀不是金钱而是一个坚强的意志（用not so mush... as）。一个大人物是一个具有坚强意志和不屈不挠精神的人。换句话说，如果一个人没有坚强意志去获得最后胜利的人，他终其一生永远不会成功。他只不过是（用no more than）一个失败者。
很显明的世界上并没有难事。如果你下定决心去做它，你一定会达到目的。
8. THE VALUE OF TIME 爱惜时光
An English proverb says that time is money. I consider it (this) wrong. We all know that we can earn money by work but can not in any way get back time. For this reason, we may (can) say that time is more valuable than money.
Many people do not know the value of time., which is indeed a great pity. We must bear (keep) in mind that wasting time is equal to wasting your life.
英国有句谚语说，时间就是金钱。我认为这是不对的。为什么？因为我们大家都知道我们能够用工作赚钱，但无论如何却无法把时间争取回来。基于此种理由，我们可以说时间比钱钱更宝贵。
许多人不知爱惜时光。这确实是可惜的。我们必须记住浪费时间等于浪费生命。
9. 尊老爱老
The elderly should be respected by all the society. We should always bear in mind that what we have and enjoy now was created by the aged people in the early days, as the old Chinese saying goes, "One generation plants tress under whose shade another generation rests". Those people who consider the elderly useless can＇t deny that they are bound to become old some day, therefore, any kind of maltreatment of old people should be prohibited.
It is a Chinese tradition to respect, love and support the elderly. Let＇s keep and develop that virtue together, because only in this way can we feel as if we were living in a big and happy family, then our society will develop harmoniously.
10. 团队合作的重要性
________remind me of the importance of cooperation. In our daily life, many jobs require good teamwork between members of staff. Thus the ability to cooperate has become one of the most highly valued qualities in modem society. Only when all members of a group are aware of their own roles, respect and support each other can the goal be achieved. Teamwork in turn benefits every member. So let’s join hands to achieve success.
11.课外活动的重要性
In my opinion， every student should be engaged in some after-class activities because from these activities we can learn many valuable things that we won＇t learn from classrooms, which will be beneficial to our future development. In addition， after- class activities broaden our circle of acquaintances. No amount of ordinary school work can take the place of friends acquired in the informal familiarities of activities.
12. 提高公民道德素质与环保
Measures should be taken by local administration organizations to keep public places tidy, clean and well preserved. On the other hand, people should mind their behaviours. As we know, the image of a neighborhood or a city is reflected especially in public places. Uncivilized actions spoil our living environment and the impression on travelers to our hometown.
