我们知道Suck是美国人常说的一个词：

它的原意是Pull in ：
To pull in liquid or air through your mouth without using your teeth,
or to move the tongue and muscles of the mouth around something inside your mouth, often in order to dissolve it.
注意这个解释包括了汉语的两个动作：
“吸”
“吮”
你可以这么用：
I sucked my thumb until I was thirteen.
所以在这个意思的时候suck是一个及物动词，就是后面不需要加介词直接可以链接宾语my thumb的动词。

Suck 做动词的时候还有一层意思就是：
Very bad， not good.
If someone or something sucks,
that person or thing is bad or unpleasant.
比如Chris在广播节目里说的：
I am suck at math
这个意思就是
I am not good at math.
这个是大实话，据说外国大学数学水平约等于中国初中三年级
可见这里Suck用作此意思的时候是不及物动词，换句话说后面需要加介词比如at才能连接宾语的动词。
当然你也可以什么不加说：
You suck=你真菜

但是老师也给大家解释了这是是一个非常rude粗俗的用语，可以用但是不能乱用。
但是如果一个人对你非常无理，你很生气那就大胆去用。
