用Christmas season(圣诞期间)做英语口语训练
从英语口语训练角度看，你见到英语Christmas season后，脑子里“出现”的“语言”，或“理解语言”是什么？是中文，还是英语？
这涉及到你是“用一门外语(中文)学习另外一个外语(英语)”，还是“用这门外语(英语)掌握这门外语(英语)”的语言能力问题。
很多人的“理解语言”肯定是中文，也只能是中文：圣诞节期间，因为很多人无法用英语“理解”什么是Christmas season，甚至可能出现“误解”。

Well, Christmas season is the time(首先是time，不是吗？)
什么time?
Christmas season is the time before Christmas, during Christmas and after Christmas.
这就是英语口语的Christmas season.
还有你可能“不知道的”：
Christmas season begins with Thanks-giving(感恩节) in late November and lasts(即：continues, or goes on) until New Year’s Day.
这些英语简单容易。我们为什么不用这些简单容易的英语去理解和记忆Christmas season，而偏偏用中文“圣诞节期间”呢？
我们一直来的英语学习方法是不是有点问题？
懂得season有“期间”的意思后，以后在圣诞节期间看到这样的英语：Season’s greetings，就不要理解成“季节的问候”了，not greetings for Spring, Sumner,Autumn and Winter.
Season’s greetings就是greetings for Christmas的意思：圣诞期间的问候。
