在调试程序的过程中，我们经常会碰到一个系统函数返回了错误值，但对于这个错误产生的原因却并不清楚。即使通过GDB去调查，因为无法进入这个库函数内部，我们还是没办法知道具体原因。除了上网去搜各种大神的帖子，有没有一种简单的办法呢？
Linux提供了一个errno方法，让我们可以在一个函数执行结束后通过变量errno打印出错值，再进一步通过Linux提供的函数把错误代码翻译成为可读的错误描述（按照errno.h里的定义）。这个方法虽然简单，却非常有用，所以这里单独开一篇短文来介绍。
首先需要include的库文件

errno.h 头文件定义了错误码和描述之间的关系
string.h 提供了把错误码转换为错误描述的方法char *strerror(int errnum);
示例代码段：

如果shmget函数返回了-1，我们就会知道获取共享内存失败了。但为什么获取内存会失败呢？
这时候我们调用上面讲述的errno的方法，在获取共享内存失败时，紧接着把错误码通过变量errno打印出来，再通过strerror函数把errno转换成语言描述。
比如我们给shmget函数传入无效的输入参数值，这个时候上述代码段仍然可以编译通过，可以正常运行，但shmget返回了-1值，进入了出错处理分支，如下图所示：
如果不调用errno方法，我只能知道get共享内存失败了，但为什么失败不清楚。
通过errno方法，我们可以打印出shmget系统函数返回-1的原因是“errno=22”，通过strerror的翻译，我们进一步知道 errno=22，意味着“无效的参数（Invalid arguement）”。
怎么样，虽然就一行代码，但却对我们查找问题的根本原因，提供了更加直观的描述，很赞吧？
