analysis & analyze

误：Can you analysis it for me?

正：Can you analyze it for me?（你能帮我分析一下它吗）

辨析：analysis名词，analyze才是动词，注意词缀是sis和ze.

another & the other

误：This hat is too big for me, can I get the another one?

正：This hat is too big for me, can I get the other one?

正：This hat is too big for me, can I get another one?（这个帽子有点大了，我能要另一个吗）

辨析：英语中没有the another这个表达方式，多个（三个及以上）选择中的另一个用another，两个之中的另一个用other。

apply

误：I applied a visa to go to China.

正：I applied for a visa to go to China.（我申请了去中国的签证）

辨析：apply做及物动词时的意思是“使用”，做不及物动词的意思才是“申请”，要和for一起使用。
