林建中，湛江金海酒店总经理，南海边土生土长的湛江人，大半辈子走南闯北，积累了东西南北中众多酒店的管理经验，尝遍了大江南北的各种美食。
“在湛江，你可以吃到的是生猛海鲜，在广州，你能吃到的是海鲜，在长沙，你能吃到的是海产品，而在北京，你能吃到的恐怕只能是海味了。”这是他的原话。
尽管有些夸张，但也看得出湛江当地人对自己海鲜食材的自信和自豪。
他问：“你知道湛江当地人最常见的海鲜烹饪方式是什么吗？”，然后又迫不及待地给了答案：“白灼。”
他认为湛江的“白灼”海鲜可以真正品尝到海鲜的美、爽、嫩、滑。
“其实，白灼最考验食材，只有好的食材，才敢拿来‘白灼’。这如同敢于素面朝天的少女，没有过人的肤质，哪来这种勇气？”
他建议对海鲜情有独钟的人士，6月18-19日，赶紧到湛江来，见识见识啥叫生猛，啥叫生猛海鲜。
国际水产博览会
被誉为“中国对虾之都”、“中国海鲜美食之都”，湛江海鲜那必须是杠杠的，尤其是对虾和罗非鱼。

作为华南地区最重要的水产盛会——2016第三届中国国际水产博览会暨首届中国海鲜食材采购大会，将于6月18-20日在湛江国际会展中心举行。
Zhanjiang will host the 2016 China International Aquatic Products Exposition at its international convention and exhibition center from June 18 to 20.
展览面积更高达20000多平米，来自国内外100多家知名企业，如国联水产，恒兴集团、武汉良中行供应链管理有限公司，福建海魁水产集团、湛江佰大食品、绿环国际、虹宝水产、环球水产等将共襄盛会。
Jointly organized by the China Aquatic Production Chamber of Commerce under the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and Zhanjiang Aquatic Products Import and Export Association, the three-day event is expected to attract more than 200 exhibitors and 3,000 professional buyers from 30 countries and regions,This year’s show will cover an exhibition area of more than 20,000 square meters with over 500 booths, about one-third of which will be earmarked for exhibitors from ASEAN member countries.
展览将展示水产种苗、捕捞和养殖、生物工程、运输、冷冻冷藏、储运保鲜、零售批发等全产业链产品、技术和设备。
The expo will showcase the entire array of products, technological solutions and equipment of the aquatic industrial chain. Exhibits will include frozen aquatic products, aquatic seedlings, technologies and equipment for aquaculture, aquatic processing and preservation, as well as environmental protection and sterilization, aquatic fodder and medicines, fodder-making machines, packaging materials, equipment and techniques and cold chain logistics.

A highlight of this year’s expo is the 2016 China Seafood Procurement Fair from June 18 to 19 that is aimed to help buyers from home and abroad discuss cooperation directly with local suppliers.There will also be a China Seafood Gourmets’ Festival, where about 1,500 diners will be served every day during the festival.
