介词within 是介词with和in的合成词，意思为:“在……之内，在……里，在……心中，看得见，听得见，够得着”

within 的短语可以表示时间，表示地点，强调在某一范围之内。

1.作状语

you should receive a reply within seven days.

你应该会在七天之 内 收到答复。

Within 24 hours, the deal was completed.

交易在24个小时之 内 完成的。

Exercise within your comfortable limit.

要适度锻炼。(在舒服的范围之 内 锻炼)

2.作表语

Is it within walking distance?

那你步行走得到吗?(那里在步行的范围之 内 ？)

We are now within range of enemy fire.

3.作定语

You can find a house within a mile of the station.

4.作介词宾语
